Discussion Volume Chart – shows how the mentions volume changes from time to time. It displays the number of mentions (of your keyword) and how many people it has reached.

So you can know when there’s a drop or increase in mentions.

You can also click on the chart to filter the results by day. 

Alerts – are regular email notifications when there are changes in discussions on your keyword(s). 

You can also customize when to receive the alerts so that you don’t flood your inbox with notifications every minute.

Brand24 and Mention have user-friendly interfaces, but I found Brand24 easier to use than Mention.

It was easy to set up my Brand24 account and create a new project to track mentions. I also didn’t struggle to find essential features. 

Although setting up my Mention account was simple, I found it difficult to create alerts. 

Mention vs Brand24 customer service

Brand24 and Mention have excellent customer service. 

But each platform outshines the other in some aspects of customer support.

For instance, I loved Mention’s promptness in email support. I’ve received several follow-up emails from the Mention team. They even let me know that I could book a call with them for a personalized consultation about their plans.

But I wasn’t impressed by their live chat support. I contacted one of their agents for some inquiries, but he took too long to respond (despite being online).

On the other hand, Brand24 was a bit slow with the email responses. They only sent the welcome email immediately after I signed up, and a follow-up a day later.

Still, I loved their live chat support. One of their agents responded promptly when I contacted him. And he was ready to schedule a call to tell me more about their features and services.
