Method 2: Secure your personal account

Since hackers usually access Facebook pages via personal accounts, you can regain control of your business page by securing your personal account.

Follow the steps below to secure your personal Facebook account:

  • Go to the Facebook Help Center page and search “hacked Facebook page.”
  • Select “I think my Facebook page was hacked or taken over by someone” from the options.
  • Scroll down the page and click “Visit this page to secure it.”

  • Your account is now secure, and you can click “Go back to News Feed.”

    • Hi, keep trying to recover your account every day using Facebook’s recommended steps. As I’ve mentioned before, failure to recover happens when your account has been deactivated. It needs to be active for the recovery to go through. Keep looking out for when the hacker activates your account and jump on that opportunity. Good luck!

    • Sometimes it’s hard to recover your account. It mostly happens when the hacker deactivates your account. Keep trying to recover your account everyday using the FB support links shared in the guide. One day, the hacker will actvate your account, and the steps to recover will work. Good luck!
